  • Discription
    This is a 2 to 3 hour ride leaving Scout Loop Track, Gembrook, riding through Kurth Kiln Regional Park.
    This ride will be a slow to medium ride to cater for those new to trail riding.
    Directions: From Woori Yallock travel along Warburton Highway to Lustasia Park Road, travel to the end of Lustasia Park Road and turn right into Gembrook-Launching Place Road, Travel along Gembook-Launching Place road to Soldiers Road (approx 10kms) and turn right onto Soldiers Road until you get to Scout Loop Track. Turn right along track until you come across fellow horse riders.
    NB: THIS IS A FREE CAMPING GROUND; YOU CAN MAKE AWEEKEND OF IT AND STAY SATURDAY NIGHT.
    ****** If temperature is going to be over 35, or a TOTAL FIRE BAN DAY, RIDE WILL BE CANCELLED
    10 AM (SHARP) Muster and ride out. Riding time is approximately 2 to 3 hours
    Ride Fees: $5.00 for club and visiting ATHRA members.
    $25.00 for visitors non ATHRA members (cost includes insurance for the day)
     Horses that are known to kick MUST wear a red ribbon in their tail.
     Breast plates & cruppers recommended.
     Stallions by agreement
     Horses must be reasonably fit and well-shod or have suitably conditioned hooves.
     DO NOT pass the ride leader without his/her ok.
     Always leave one horse length in between each horse.
     Always ensure to keep the horse in front of you in sight.
     Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult, have a signed permission slip and wear an approved riding
    helmet.
     It is the rider’s responsibility to inform the ride leader/organizer of any medical conditions that he/she
    may have.
     YVTHRC recommends that all riders have ambulance cover.
