The Dayboro Trailriders Club Inc. is once again holding this very popular trail riding event. Saturday 25th October 2008. Riders rally at 8am for an 8:30am (sharp) departure from, and returning to, the Dayboro Showgrounds, Mt Mee Road.
There will be the choice of two rides. 1x3hr and 1x7hr. Experience trekking through the beautiful Dayboro area. Ride from the valley, to the mountains, view the bay and islands as never before.
Non-competitive and leisurely paced. Participants will need to bring their own horses and riding gear. There is no age limit on either riders or horses; however both will need to be fit enough and competent to take part. Strictly no stallions, rigs or dogs.
Rules and insurance fees apply. ATHRA members $10. Non members $20. Camping facilities, power, hot showers, show ring, public phone, yards, stalls, rodeo arena and catering available across the weekend.
Saturday evening licensed bar (strictly no BYO alcohol) and entertainment by the Sharyn Bell.
The Big October Ride has become avidly looked forward to, each year, by riders locally and further a field. We'd like to extend the welcome mat and encourage as many riders as possible to come join us.
