26th January 2012 3.30pm - 7.00pm Devils are hitting the trail on the Australia Day public holiday for a Grade 2-3 ride along the power lines track, Collins Lane. Plenty of hills, reasonably good going (recently trimmed horses may require boots) and great company.
Late afternoon ride to allow all the lamb chop BBQs, dusty rodeos and Triple J Hottest 100 count down to conclude before saddling up. If it is REALLY hot, may even look at pushing start time back an hour to five pm to get some relief from the heat.
BBQ and drinks after the ride (just to wash the dust down) so bring folding chairs and choice of beverages. Snags, hamburgers and ice cold soft drinks $2.50 each (and we'll even chuck in bread, sauce and onions for that price!)
Fees: Free for Devils members $5 for THCRA $25 for non members includes comprehensive day insurance
