Our first ride for 2021 will be held at Moriac near Torquay . Date is Feb 6th & 7th camping is available on the Friday night. We will be camping at Whinbury Hill Equestrian Centre. There is a communal kitchen, BBQ under cover area toilets & showers. There are about 6 beds in the hut first in first served otherwise camping in floats, tents or caravans are fine. There are no powered sites, there are also limited yards so BYO as it will also be first in first served. There is a massive dam to swim in horses also. Gill the owner of the property will take us out on Sat and and a short ride on Sunday morning for those that want to go out. The tracks are sandy from memory with some hills. Rider level walk, trot & Canter must be able to keep in front of the Tail rider. I will confirm the distance with Gill and update you all but I'm guessing around the 20 km mark. The cost to camp and use the facilities is $20 per person per night and $10 per horse per night. We will make this as an event so can people please respond if they are coming asap for numbers.
