*Meeting place is the Lal Lal pub paddock located at the back of the pub. Entrance on the Buninyong side of the pub. *Horseless muster at 9.30 *RIDE OUT 10AM SHARP *Head out to Blast Furnace via bush tracks and 4 creek crossings. *Approx 1.30 arrive at Blast Furnace for a bbq lunch supplied by club, rest, use toilet facilities. *2pm, tack up and return to pub. *Approx 3.30 arrive back at pub with option to stay for a drink or two!
TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS RIDE YOU MUST HAVE RIDING ABILITY OF INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED.
Riding speed- walking on all difficult tracks with good hills for trot and canter. Riding terrain- gravel roads, rocky tracks, steep hills, flowing creek crossings, narrow tracks. What you may need- horses shod or good barefoot/boots. Reasonably fit horses, breast plate, good fitting saddle. Snacks water, sunscreen. Horses can be watered at the creeks.
