The minimum equipment required is a saddle with stirrups and girth and appropriate head gear (bridle). The use of halters is only permitted where both horse and rider have demonstrated effective control.

    NEW BIOSECURITY RULES:

From 1st July 2016 there has been new Biosecurity rules introduced into Australia. Bluewater Trail Blazers now has to keep records of all horses that attend their events and participants need record the movement of their horses when leaving their property.

Bluewater Trail Blazers will provide a Horse Health Declaration form that must be provided for all attending horses. This can also be retained as a Movement Record for your horse(s).

In order to minimise risk to other persons, their horses, and the livelihood of the property owners, it is essential that horses showing any signs of possible infectious diseases; in particular Hendra infection, do not attend any trail ride. The Trail Boss has the authority to turn away any horse which is considered suspect. Horses should also have their own feed/water containers.

Please direct all enquiries to myself or the Facebook Page so everybody can see replies – hope to see you there – it will be an easy, social ride

    Kind regards
