Plunkett Conservation Park ride
There are two entrances to this 16.5 k loop one at the end of Pineview Ave and at the other at Flesser Road additional 8ks will be available in the future. At the start of this loop your horse must be able to traverse the step overs at either entrance. Follow the black & yellow markers as pictured below. This loop should take approximately 4 hours at a walk.
This ride will be mostly on tree covered tracks, some are a little hilly. Trails are easy to medium with some rocky parts and as usual it is recommended that your horse is shod.
In an effort to ensure safe and responsible riding in Plunkett Conservation Park, the Beaudesert Trail Horse Riding club has been working in partnership with the Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service marking out a suitable trail ride through the park. QPWS and Beaudesert club members have been involved in planning the new 16.5km loop to enable horse riders as well as bushwalkers, mountain bike riders & naturalists of all disciplines to use the park responsibly and with due care to the environmental management of this wonderful park.
